In our current economic times, “affordable housing” is a phrase that has become common in our vernacular, and manufactured housing is a significant part of the solution. Having spent more than 20 years in the manufactured housing industry, Ruben enjoys working closely with park ownership entities to not only place beautiful homes that anyone would be proud to own, but that also bring value and curb appeal to the park itself. Though often stigmatized, Ruben is up for the challenge of helping people understand what manufactured homes can truly look like and is working to change the way everyone from individuals to City Councils view manufactured housing communities. His experience spans the entire spectrum of issues facing manufactured housing communities, and he is responsible for developing comprehensive forms, guidelines and operating procedures specific to the unique requirements of each individual community. Of necessity, he is a subject matter expert in California Civil Code provisions, CCR Title 25, CPUC requirements, and Fair Housing guidelines.
